Warrap State Prison Director on Friday visited Tonj South County.
Samir Khamis Selman said he found 280 prisoners in Tonj Central Prison, Don Bosco Radio reported.He added that the aim of his visits was to acquaint himself with the difficulties inmates face, and implementing farming activities.
Mr Khamis said Tonj Central Prison needed renovation because the buildings are old.
The State Prison Director revealed that his office was planning to bring generator and a television set for prisoners.
Mr Khamis urged all inmates to be patient while waiting for their cases to be handled by the state high Court.
