A leading Nigerian oil company plans to invest in South Sudan’s oil and gas industry.

A Dee Jones Petroleum and Gas Limited delegation was in Juba early this week and held exploratory meetings with various key government officials and partners.

Dee Jones Director Richard Eze told the Government spokesperson Barnaba Marial Benjamin that his company also wanted to support education and agriculture in the country to help improve the economy.

Dr Marial welcomed the initiative.

He called for more companies to invest in the country.

Dr Marial said international investment would provide employment opportunities to the unemployed youth in the country.
