Eastern Equatoria Speaker extended four days onto the recess period of the law makers.

Emmanuel Ambrose Ocholimoi wrote in an announcement that the end of the three-month recess and the opening of the Assembly were delayed to Tuesday, Emmanuel Radio reported.

Speaker Ocholimoi cited commitments of state governor Louis Lobong Lojore in Juba for a number of meetings as the reason for the extension.

The speaker invited all state MPs, ministers, heads of commissions, UNMISS, NGOs and CBOs representatives, Police, Wildlife, Fire Brigade chiefs and Directors General to attend the opening session.

Civil servants were also directed to attend the opening of the fourth session as Governor Lobong will deliver his government policy statement.
