Yei River County Department of Animal Resources and Fisheries started on Wednesday a 15-day mobile animal vaccination campaign to protect cattle from diseases.
Veterinary Zackayous Khamis Christopher called on cattle owners to register their animals for vaccination, Easter Radio reported.Mr Khamis cautioned the public against slaughtering pregnant cattle.
Earlier this month, the Department announced a shortage of veterinary drugs in the county.
