Members of Western Equatoria Legislative Assembly raised serious concerns about poor quality teaching in Yambio County.

MPs Paul Tambua and Monoko Rodolphe mentioned Yabongo Girls Primary School and Nakpangau Primary School as the worst places where pupils are sent home after attending only one or two lessons a day, Anisa Radio reported.

MP Martin Ngarowu said parents are also complaining about poor teaching in Yabongo Girls Boarding Secondary School.

He said some students in Science Section are dropping out and others are enrolling in other schools.

MP Margaret Fozia revealed that there is a disco place in Bakindo area where many puplis dance the night away.

The House commissioned the line committees to investigate the allegations and propose solutions for the children to learn properly.
