The Torit Catholic Emeritus bishop on Tuesday visited a Yei diocese elderly priest.
Bishop Paride Taban said his visit was to show comfort to Fr Jocondo Anyungo who had an accident, Radio Easter reported.He said Fr Anyungo was the first diocesan priest sent as missionary from his parish to Yei diocese.
The emeritus bishop said he also wanted to visit Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe.
He disclosed that Bishop Lodu was his assistant parish priest in the diocese of Torit before becoming bishop of Yei.
The Catholic Radio Network (CRN) is a media project constituted by community-based radio stations broadcasting in Frequency Modulation from Juba, Yei, Torit, Yambio, Rumbek, Tonj, Wau, and Malakal. For its outreach, CRN has a potential audience of about seven million people, considering the influx of returnees to South Sudan after the Sudan Population Census 2008.
