Western Bahr El Ghazal SPLM secretariat said the procedures used to assume the executive office were legal and constitutional.
State SPLM chairperson Mark Nyipoch Ubang last month rejected the new executive members saying their election was illegal.
SPLM new Information Secretary Monica Sabino told Voice of Hope that the executive members were legal and ran the office affairs normally.
She accused the state SPLM chairperson for rejecting the Liberation Council invitation to chair the meeting describing it a violation of the SPLM Constitution.
Ms Sabino said the election of the new secretariat executive was legal according to article 34 of SPLM constitution 2008.
She said it was constitutional to remove the former secretary-general.
Ms Sabino denied divisions in the state SPLM secretariat and promised to reactivate the plans of the office and work for the party interest.
The secretary admitted that there were only ideological differences in the SPLM secretariat and not disunity.
Ms Sabino revealed that there was need for reconciliation of the members in the party.
