World Vision on Friday donated 400 pairs of shoes to Yabongo Girls’ Secondary School students in Yambio.

World Vision Regional Manager Madeline Bilonda presented the gift to the Minister of General Education, Pia Philip Michael.

Mr Pia thanked World Vision for supporting education in Western Equatoria.

He said the shoes would be shared between Yabongo Girls’ Day and Boarding Secondary schools.

World Vision Project manager Justin Elia said United Nations Refugee agency or UNHCR gave their organization a project to construct schools in Makpandu and Napere Refugee camps in Ezo County.

He said they already constructed two classrooms, an administration block and a pit latrine.

Mr Elia added that more class rooms would be constructed to have a complete secondary school in the camp.
