The retired Bishop of Torit Diocese called on the Government and the rebel groups to stop war and sit down to talk to find peaceful means of resolving their disputes.
Bishop Paride Taban told CRN that civilized people settled their problems by talking at a round table, but resorting to guns was a culture of uncivilized people.He appealed to the South Sudanese to be people of faith and listen to the word of God.
The Bishop came from Torit on Thursday.

The Catholic Radio Network (CRN) is a media project constituted by community-based radio stations broadcasting in Frequency Modulation from Juba, Yei, Torit, Yambio, Rumbek, Tonj, Wau, and Malakal.
