Yei River County Commissioner on Thursday toured Lutaya market to acquaint himself with the business situation.
Juma David Augustine told Radio Easter that he was very impressed at the market to see fellow citizens busy selling and buying.He said was also impressed to see local farms products in the market.
The Commissioner said 99 percent shelters in the market belong to South Sudanese.
Mr Juma urged the Chamber of Commerce and the business community to improve the market structure and its sanitation.
He proposed that market should work seven days a week.
The Commissioner encouraged all people owning business plots in the market to develop and used them.
Nixson Luwate, one of the trader said people were few and no residents surrounding the market.
