The UN is inaugurating new health and justice infrastructures and launching a new peace programme in Bor, the capital of restive and underdeveloped Jonglei State.
UNDP communications specialist Marguerite A. Nowak told CRN via e-mail that on Wednesday afternoon the newly built Bor High Court will be inaugurated “to extend formal legal services to citizens.”Bor State Hospital counts since this afternon with a new laboratory providing diagnostic services.
Ms Nowak announced that the UNDP is launching the new Jonglei Peacebuilding through Food Security programme.
The new initiative kick starts with the distribution of 30 tractors.
