Raiders from Tonj South and Tonj East counties in Warrap State attacked Cueibet County on Friday.
South Tonj County Commissioner Mario Monydhieth Gor said residents from the two counties celebrated a peace and reconciliation conference with Cueibet County last month, Don Bosco Radio reported.Mr Gor added that the raiders of Tonj South and East attacked a cattle camp in Cueibet days after peace and reconciliation conference.
He said he did not have full details about casualties.
Mr Gor explained that the police recovered cattle from raiders.
He said the communities of Tonj South, Tonj East and Cueibet agreed last month to stop cattle raids and allow free movement of people of Warrap and Lake State.
Mr Gor condemned the attack of Tonj South and East raiders to Cueibet.
He strongly urged the police to hunt the raiders who have gone to Cueibet County in Lake State.
Mr Gor told the cattle keepers that he was not joking: he will do with whomever took part in cattle raiding crimes.
