EZO COUNTY TO BENEFIT FROM WORLD BANK PROJECT

A high level government delegation on arrived in Ezo County to brief the communities about the development research project funded by World Bank and to hear their comments.

Ezo County Commissioner Mathey Ancelmon Mabu welcomed the delegation assuring them of relevant peace in the county, Anisa Radio reported.

An official from the national ministry of Finance Economic Planning, Mathiang Martin, said two counties were selected for this project in every state of South Sudan.

He mentioned that Ezo and Ibba counties were the beneficiaries in Western Equatoria.

Mr Mathiang warned that any mismanagement of funds would automatically lead to the suspension or immediate termination of the project in the area.

He urged all the stakeholders from the county, payams and Bomas to coordinate and support the project for better results in 2015.

Ezo Centre, Andari and Naandi Payams were selected in Ezo County to begin the research.

The meeting brought together local NGOs, government representatives and the community leaders in Ezo County.
