A civil society group organized a public discussion in Yambio, Western Equatria, to explore ways for citizens to interact with their state government.
South Sudan United Democratic Elections Representative Francis Zongi disclosed that the aim of the forum was to bring the citizens closer to the government ask questions to the governor and his cabinet on the current development in the state, Radio Anisa reported.He explained that the public forum had nothing to do with politics because his group was a neutral body that advocated for good relationship between the government and its people.
Governor Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro urged the general public to feel free to ask any question.
He said the forum was a democratic process towards good governance in the state.
