Voice of Peace Radio celebrated its forth anniversary of broadcasting in the Nuba Mountains.
Fr Francis Angelo, the Gidel Parish Priest, presided over the Eucharistic celebration.He acknowledged the great role that the radio station is playing in building up the community.
Fr Angelo appreciated the staff for the constant service in the production of programmes.
Voice of Peace’s Directress Sister Mary Carmen, expressed her gratitude to His Lordship Bishop Macram Max Gassis and the Diocesan administration for their constant support for the progress of Radio.
She said she saw a great impact of the Radio in the community through the programmes that are aired like an opened attitude towards reconciliation within the family.
Sr Carmen stated that the Radio has worked for four years since it was inaugurated in April 22nd 2009.
She added that this Radio station is part of the Catholic Radio Network operating with the aim of reconciling communities.
The Radio Directress encouraged the different supporters to continue giving a hand for the benefit of Nuba community.
