The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) said it is ready for talks with Khartoum Government to bring peace and stability in the region.
Sudanese government and the SPLM-North are set to start talks on Tuesday in Addis Ababa, the Ethiopia.SPLM-North Spokesman Arnu Ngatulu Lodi, issued statement saying that their first priority is humanitarian aid basing on United Nations and UN Security Council Resolution 2046 which was signed in June 2011.
He said SPLM-North negotiation team is already in Addis Ababa to start the negotiations.
Sudan Government delegation head, Ibrahim Ghandour, said his delegation left for Addis Ababa on Monday to negotiate with the SPLM-N under the African Union mediation team, led by former South African President Thabo Mbeki.
