SOUTH SUDAN EXAMS KICK OFF IN TONJ

South Sudan Secondary School Certificate Examinations kicked off on Monday in Tonj South of Warrap State.

Tonj Technical Secondary School Director Kamic Deng Mayen told Radio Don Bosco that there are 103 candidates sitting for the examinations this year.

He noted that only one female candidate is sitting for the examinations in his school

Mr Deng said geography examination papers dispatched to the school were not enough.

He encouraged the candidates to work hard and remain courageous as they write their examination papers.

Candidate Cyrilo Chol complained that Christian Religious and Education examination was quite difficult but he tried his best.

Another candidate, Michael Dangaru observed that the examinations appear to have been set from the textbooks that they have been using at the school.

He urged his fellow candidates to remain focused and continue to study hard even though the examinations were hard.

Candidate Cyrilo Deng said that the examinations were hard because of the delay from the ministry of education in Juba.

He advised the candidates to respect their teachers and invigilators.
