Jerome Gama Surur made the statement at a gathering of a belated International Women’s day celebration at Freedom Square in Torit, Radio Emmanuel reported.

He said women have the capacity to bring peace through talks.
Mr Gama encouraged educated women to sensitize others in the rural areas on the negative impacts of conflict in the society.
The deputy governor notes that most criminal activities in the state are committed by men and young people, saying women can easily influence the actors in conflict to calm down for peaceful resolutions.
