A Sudanese warplane dropped four bombs at Jigeba, Umdarain locality in Nuba Mountains, killing one boy and injuring another three.
Two goats were also killed in the attack.Jigeba Assistant Chief Abdullahi Idriss confirmed that the bombs were dropped on a civilian area on Thursday morning.
He added that one boy suffered major injuries while the other two had minor wounds.
Mr Idriss said the victims were rushed to the hospital to receive medical treatment.
He denounced that the Sudanese government continued targeting innocent civilians with aerial bombings.
Khartoum has been bombarding civilians in the Nuba Mountains region since June 2011, when a conflict broke up with the SPLM-North over state election results.
