Representatives from child protection governmental, non governmental and community based organizations underwent one-day training in Yei in a bid to curb child abuse in the county.
Plan International program unit manager Angelo Lubang conducted the training, Radio Easter reported.He explained that training aimed to equip child protection committees and activists on systems towards child protection.
M Lubang said the training would feed the committees about their objectives, roles and responsibility as well as developing strategies to deal with child protection related issues at county, payam and boma levels.
