The inspector of information in Yei River County says the Yei-Lasu Road repair is on track despite of some technical setbacks.
Speaking to Radio Easter after a site inspection on Wednesday morning, the county spokesperson Ephraim Jomo Michael said 7.7 Kilometres were already repaired.He added that there were four bad spots that required some technical work.
Mr Jomo underlined that the constructors are working hard to fix the whole road.
He called on the citizens living along the Yei-Lasu Road to remain patient and consider the nature of the road and the weather conditions.
Gops and Sons Construction Company is the contractor entrusted with the rehabilitation of the Yi-Lasu 48-kilometer road.
