The SPLA-N said Sudan Army Forces or SAF recaptured Dondor, in Umdarain, Nuba Mountains, after the rebels took it on Monday.
Heiban County SPLM-N Yunan El-Barut Ajur said SAF attacked Dondor with four MIG jet fighters, four helicopter gunships and two Antonovs on Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 3.00 PM.He added that SPLA-N forces made a tactical withdrawal from Dondor to protect lives and military assets.
Mr El-Barut said SAF does not care about civilians as its warplanes carry out random attacks.
He urged civilians to take care about aerial bombardments.
Mr El-Barut said the SPLA-N will re-occupy to Dondor or any another place.
The SPLM-N leader explained that SAF is becoming crazy since the Government is decreasing in power.
Mr El-Barut said SPLA-N forces attacked El-Amra, nine kilometers East of Kadugli.
He added that the rebels destroyed SAF weaponry.
Mr El-Barut said SPLA-N forces were still shelling Kadugli, the capital of South Kordofan.
