Seven people condemned to death are awaiting fort their execution at Torit Prison.
The seven were sentenced to death by High Court in Torit, Radio Emmanuel reported.Torit County Prison Director Anthony Lemi Mimbe said there is one woman among the seven convicts on the death row.
He added that one person is serving a life sentence for murder.
Colonel Lemi said the convicts on the death row are aged between 20 to 45 year. They were sentenced by crimes committed during cattle raids.
Three are from Lafon/Lopa, two from Ikoto, one from Torit and another from Lirya Payam of Juba County in Central Equatoria state.
Colonel Lemi said 11 juveniles were convicted to serve a range of prison terms with the highest being seven years on murder.
A total of 110 convicts, including six foreigners, are serving sentences in Torit prison.
Last December, South Sudan voted for a halt on executions at the UN in New York.
