The Government of Sudan issued a statement accusing the SPLM-N or Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North of undermining the timeline agreed to implement the security arrangements between the two countries.
The statement says the SPLM-N claimed that it was in control of 40 percent of the joint border and it would be a party to the implementation of the Security Cooperation Arrangements Matrix between the Sudan and South Sudan.
Khartoum accused the SPLM-N of being against peace, security and stability between the Republic of the Sudan and the Republic of South Sudan.
It asked the African Union and the international community to remove away from the peace process between the two countries, such negative impact exercised by the SPLM-N which Khartoum calls an armed entity.
