UNICEF GOODWILL AMBASSADOR HAPPY TO SEE JUBA SCHOOLS IMPROVE

A UNICEF goodwill ambassador expressed joy after visiting some schools in Juba.

Japanese actress, talk show host and best-selling author of children books Tetsuko Kuroyangi said her interest to work with children came when she realized children worldwide needed education, Bakhita Radio reported.

She said she was very impressed to see children asking for peace, education and teachers.

The goodwill ambassador added that UNICEF is working hard with the government of South Sudan to get good education and teachers for all schools in the country.

Ms Kuroyangi said Juba improved its schools in the last 20 years.

The UNICEF goodwill ambassador visited several schools and a hospital for children in Juba.
