TONJ SOUTH COUNTY COMPLETES TEXTBOOK DISTRIBUTION

Tonj South County in Warrap State on Friday completed the distribution of textbooks to all the schools.

Bakhita Primary School Director, Sister Elizabeth Cyril, confirmed that her school received the textbooks on March11 2013, Don Bosco Radio reported.

She explained that her school received all the textbooks which including Mathematics, English, Christian Religious Education, Social Studies and Sciences for pupils of primary one to four.

Sister Cyril added that she received 18 boxes of text books for the Bakhita Primary School.

She urged the parents and guardians to treat the textbooks well and keep them in good condition throughout the school year.

Makerdit Primary School headmaster, Marko Mading Garang, said his school received 50 boxes of textbooks for primary one through eight and 15 boxes of textbooks for Adult education.

Tonj Academic primary School headmaster, William Majok, said his school received 24 boxes of textbooks for primary one through eight and five boxes for Adult Education.

Mr. Majok added that the textbooks that he received will not be enough because the students’ number increased this year compared to last year.

He said that the students are going to share the textbooks and that the school administration had organized for students to use them in group study.

Deputy County Education Director, Samuel Mayiik, said they completed the textbooks distribution on Friday.

He added that all the schools except one school in Wunalel Payam in Greater Tonj South received textbooks.

Mr. Mayiik urged the people of Tonj South County to send their children to school because the textbooks were given to their children free of charge.
