The sisters of Loreto serving in education of girls in Rumbek Diocese have opened mixed day primary school for both little boys and girls under the age of five to six years old.
Sr. Kathleen Magdalenian explained that the school will be for pupils of primary one, two, three and kindergarten, Good News Radio reported.She said they have also provided two classes for girls of primary six and seven.
Sr Magdalenian added that they are doing this to protect girls who always find it difficult to learn among the grown up boys and also to avoid drop out.
She revealed that they have received 495 pupils and more are expected from the cattle camps.
