Sudan Development and Relief Agency (SUDRA) on Thursday started a three-day workshop in Juba to discuss new development strategies for rendering services to its people.
ECS Bishop of Ibba Diocese in Western Equatoria State, Wilson Kamani said the workshop is to come up with a new vision, mission statement and objectives that bring together the 31 ECS dioceses.He said SUDRA is also planning to go down to the grassroots and work from there to facilitate sustainable development.
Bishop Kamani called on the participants to commit themselves to fruitful discussions in order to come out with something tangible that can benefit the church.
He called on the people on the ground to use the available resources for sustainable development.
The workshop brought together ECS church leaders from all over South Sudan.
