Hakima Health Training Institute in the Nuba Mountains which was previously closed due to the ongoing war has reopened.
Hakima Institute Principal, Ismael Dambura Bangli, said there was a need to reopen the college in order to train the nurses to serve the community.He added that the suffering, the people of the Nuba Mountains are experiencing due to lack of drugs and treatment, requires health attention.
Mr. Bangli lamented that feeding was the toughest challenge that delayed the institute to resume since January this year.
Hakima Health Training Institute was opened on Tuesday with five tutors and 76 students.
