WAU WOMEN GET ENTREPRENEURSHIP SKILLS

More than 50 women and few youths in Wau are undergoing training on private business projects of get-ahead women enterprise.

The training is targeting 500 beneficiaries in Western Bahr el Ghazal State alone and will also tackle business idea generation.

International Labor Organization Tutor, Stephen Takunya said the workshop is expected to equip women with skills of how to put down business ideas for their daily survival as entrepreneurs.

He said successful women in this training will be offered business kits and certificates in order to begin their enterprises with the acquired skills.

Mr. Takunya testified that most of the youth who have been trained in this program have proved themselves competent in managing their small business inputs.

Youth Training Centre Director, Paul Sebit Rudolf advised the women to take the type of businesses that can best fit their ability.

He called on the trainees to put what they will learn into practice and make difference in the daily income generation

The training started on Tuesday at Wau Youth Centre and will run for four days.
