Rumbek National secondary school administration requested parents to support the school by paying the school fees increased this year by ten percent.

Assistance administrator, Abraham Malou said the school fees this year increased from 200 to 300 South Sudanese pounds, Good News Radio reported.

He called on the parents to pay 150 South Sudanese pounds each term because the school needs money to run efficiently.

Mr Malou added that the school lacks many things including grinding mills, stationery, and money for printing examinations.

He said the administration is committed to keep the school functioning.

The registration for the new academic year for Rumbek National Secondary school was supposed to start on March 5, but it was withheld for many other reasons.
