The Mayor of Tonj South on Monday prohibited and condemned children from using drugs.
Valentino Machar Ater expressed his concern over the usage of drugs by the children and youth of Tonj South County, Don Bosco Radio reported.He lamented that heÊ saw children inhaling glue and other dangerous substances around the market places and hotels in Tonj.
Mr. Valentino urged all parents not to let their children go to the markets to take part in addictive activities.
Aguka Chief John Njur, urged parents and guardians to be responsible and concern of their children to combat drugs problem in Tonj.
Mr. Valentino and Mr. Njur agreed that the only solution is for parents to send all of their children to school to limit their idleness and movement to market places and hotels.
