KUPERA COMMUNITY TO ESTABLISH SECONDARY SCHOOL IN LAINYA

The community of Kupera in Lainya County, Central Equatoria state has planned to establish a secondary school to accommodate students who move long distance in search of education.

Greater Equatoria Secretary for Youth and Sports, Emmanuel Khemis Richard said the school to be called Jimmy Lemi Memorial secondary school is also planned to reduce school dropout in the Payam, Easter Radio reported.

He called on the community to cooperate in order to realize the success of the initiative.

He appealed to the government of the state to extend similar initiatives to the other counties to improve education in the state.

Central Equatoria state Information minister, Jacob Aligo Lo Lodu appealed to Kupera community to contribute with the local materials that can back the project’s implementation when it starts.

The ministries of Cabinet Affairs, General Education and Instruction and Kupera community are to take necessary steps in the implementation of the project.
