Wau Municipal Council passed the laws that regulate its conduct of business after two weeks of discussions.
The document, consisting of 13 chapters and 58 articles, was approved by the majority and will guide the council members, Voice of Hope reported.Simon Suleiman Harrun, Deputy Municipal Council Chairperson, read the approval certificate that authenticated the regulation laws and its date of start.
Philip Deng Ulak, Municipal Council chairperson, appreciated all the council members for the great efforts made to complete the drafting of the municipal laws.
He said the approved regulations will help accelerate the work the Council has already begun.
The document was approved by more than 30 Council Members.
