A Primary school at Debi in Eldu Payam, Nuba Mountains, was left without teachers due to lack of financial support.
Head teacher Abdu Osman said teachers went home leaving children without lessons.He explained that the incident occurred when the teachers did not receive their monthly payment from the community.
Mr Osman said the school had no teaching materials.
Debi Primary School has currently 355 pupils with only two female teachers at work.
Conflict in the Nuba Mountains region has affected learning institutions since the breakout of war between the SPLM-N and Government forces, in June 2011.
