The department of Education in Yei River County of Central Equatoria State on Tuesday released the results for the Accelerated Learning Program.
County Deputy Education Director Philip Taban announced that out of 415 students, 365 passed the primary leaving examinations, Radio Easter reported.He said 73 percent passed the exams, a better performance compared to the previous year.
Mr Taban also declared that Lomuku was the best performing centre with 90 percent passes, followed by Mahad, Jombo and Yei Army learning centres.
The candidates who passed the examinations are allowed to join secondary schools this month.
