Yambio County Chamber of Commerce is expecting a new chairperson, his deputy and the secretary this week after Wednesday’s elections.
Faustino Sebit Vero, a member of the electoral committee, said the Chamber’s Constitution has been successfully amended, Anisa Radio Reported.He added that the commission received five applications for the post of chairperson and the deputy, but no candidate for the secretariat.
The names of the selected candidates will be announced on Tuesday.
Mr Vero said the candidates have to be from Yambio County, possess a Bank account, good education background, and no criminal past.
He explained that the voters have t be a South Sudanese traders with a valid trading license.
Other traders are allowed to witness the voting process.
Mr Vero encouraged all the traders to go and cast their votes on Wednesday at noon.
