The SPLA-N claimed that it repelled an attack by government and militia forces to Angarto village in Nuba Mountains.
SPLM-N official spokesperson Arnu Ngutulu Lodi said in an e-mailed press statement that the fighting took place on Tuesday at 2:30 PM and lasted for less than ten minutes.He added that SPLA-N chased the troops back to Talodi.
Mr Ngattulu said the government troops threw away guns, shells and ammunitions.
