A grenade exploded in Yei River County of Central Equatoria State leaving a seven-year-old boy dead and a two-year-old seriously injured.
Criminal Investigator at the Police Desk Ayume Victor Samuel told Radio Easter that the explosion took place on Sunday evening while the kids were playing with the grenade.The officer called on the population not to keep explosives at home.
The injured kid was referred to Yei Civil Hospital for medical treatment.
