Sisters from a Catholic congregation on Thursday visited Tombura/Yambio Catholic diocese.

Anne Kirago said the Daughters of St Paul are visiting the Diocese to teach catechism and promote justice and peace through Bible sharing, Anisa Radio reported.

She said they brought many religious books including catechisms and the Holy Bible for both children and adults.

Sr Anne urged the faithful of Tombura/Yambio to develop the faith they got from the Comboni Missionaries 100 years ago.

She stated that they are visiting Yambio Parish for the second time after attending the Parish Centenary celebration in October, 2012.

Sr Anne said the sisters are based in Juba Archdiocese and are hoping to open communities in different parts of the country.
