An expert has described the situation of the people in Nuba Mountains of South Kordofan state as bleak.
Globewise Communications official Peter Moszynski, who visited Nuba Mountains last week, said people were suffering seriously. He advised Nuba intellectuals to try their best to help the Nuba people through diplomatic pressure.
Mr Moszynski stressed the need to keep on reporting information about Nuba Mountains to make the world aware of what is taking place in the region.
AEGIS Special Representative, an organization for Preventing Crimes against Humanity, Mukesh Kapila called on the Nuba people to unite in an effective manner and form a good leadership to address the current challenges.
He warned that if Nuba leaders do not unite, standing on their own and facing the challenge, their people would continue to suffer for many years.
Dr Kapila warned that if Nuba left foreigners to speak on their behalf, the foreigners may get the message wrong or speak what cannot help where then complain would be too late.
The two speakers made their remarks during the launch of South Kordofan Media Centre in Juba on Thursday.
