A number of citizens in Western Bahr el Ghazal expressed relief and joy over the decentralization of Nationality and Passport issuance.
Some citizens interviewed by Voice of Hope Radio expressed their satisfaction with some reservations over the work done.Mouzama Asounta said she was happy with the system of bringing services to the people in Wau but complained that the process had some difficulties.
She added that the Nationality Certificate represented sense of belonging to the nation of South Sudan and urged the citizens to acquire certificates of their beloved country.
Achuil Aurilio, a government employee who submitted his application a week ago, said the process was easier but lamented delays in computer and photo office.
He appealed for an increase in the number of employees at the Directorate.
Mr Aurelio also warned officials working at the directorate to refrain from facilitating relatives and friends and let it be first come first serve basis.
The State Directorate started issuing Nationality Certificates on the second of January.
The office is only mandated to gather data of applicants to send it to Juba for final processing and issuance.
