Church personnel from the Catholic Diocese of Yei on Tuesday met in Lutaya Pastoral Centre to prepare the celebration of the Year of Faith at the diocesan and parish level.
The celebration will be under the theme “Keeping the sight of faith fixed on Jesus”, Radio Easter reported.Bishop Erkulano Lodu Tombe of Yei said the theme was chosen from Hebrew chapter 12 verse two as theological background in relation to faith.
Bishop Lodu called on the faithful not to lose sight on Jesus in their faith.
He said the celebration will includes activities like Eucharistic processions, sacrament of reconciliation, baptism, and others sacraments.
He urged the clergy and the laity to go and explain the theme clearly to the people.
