Tonj Civil Hospital has received some equipment for the use of in-patients.
Hospital director Peter Deng Kuc told Don Bosco FM that they received chairs, tables, mattresses and beds from Al Mania-Kenya on Wednesday.Dr Deng said the staff was already fixing the chairs and tables to be used by patients.
He added that after getting some more equipment, patients do not need to be referred to Wau anymore.
Dr Deng said the hospital also needed surgeons to help pregnant women to deliver and perform other surgeries.
He urged people, special women, to come to the hospital if they feel sick or to deliver.
