The head of Gudele II or Kuburi Habuba East Committee said Tuesday that Juba County Commissioner wanted the neighbourhood demarcated this month.
Francis Jackson told CRN that Commissioner Stephen Wani Samuel gave the committee a plan to work with the Government in order to organize and demarcate Gudele II area, in Juba.He said Commissioner Wani wanted the area demarcated in January and called on the residents to get registered immediately.
Mr Jackson explained that after the registration the Government will decide how it wants to demarcate the area for residents to occupy it.
He said registration has not started yet but the neighbourhood committee will be responsible for the process.
Mr Jackson explained that the committee will take charge of the registration because its members know the residents and the newcomers from Sudan, Uganda, Kenya and other countries.
