South Sudan’s ruling party has announced an extraordinary convention next month to discuss party’s four basic documents.
SPLM Deputy Secretary General Anne Itto Leonardo told SSTV that the party’s Manifesto, Constitution, Rules and Regulations and Code of Conduct have to be reviewed in the extraordinary convention.The documents that have been under discussion at grassroots have to be updated due to the independence of South Sudan.
Before being approved by the Convention, the four documents need the okay of the SPLM Political Bureau and National Liberation Council.
