Young women and men in South Sudan and particularly the in the Diocese of Rumbek were urged to accept the call of Christ and become preachers of his word and be at the service of life through professional skills.
The call came from Enrique Sanchez and Daniele Giusti, the superior general and councillor respectively of the Comboni Missionaries, visiting South Sudan.Bro Giusti, who is also a medical doctor, told Good News Radio on Wednesday morning, that South Sudan has one of the biggest number of Comboni brothers at their service.
He encouraged South Sudanese to help themselves through hard work.
Bro Giusti called on the young people to taking up medical and other kinds of training to serve people.
He said to serve life is a vocation.
Fr Sanchez said it was possible for young men in South Sudan to join the congregation and experience what it takes to spread the Word of God.
He urged the youth of South Sudan to put trust in God and accept his call.
Fr Sanchez and Bro Giusti are in a three-week visit to the Comboni communities in South Sudan.
They have already visited Tali, Yirol, Mapuordit, Rumbek, Bargel and Wau.
