The bombardments by Sudan Armed Forces against Kiir Adem in Northern Bahr El Ghazal on December 26 have displaced 700 people.
Five people were reportedly killed by the bombs.Aid agencies expressed concerned about the humanitarian consequences of the ground and aerial attacks that displaced more than 700 people to Jaac, UNOCHA South Sudan Weekly Humanitarian Bulletin reported.
As soon as the security situation improves, aid organizations will conduct an inter-agency rapid needs assessment in Jaac, about 40km from the disputed Kiir Adem border region to ascertain the humanitarian needs of the new arrivals.
On December 17, aid agencies started providing household kits and relief materials to some 4,000 people in Jaac who were displaced by aerial bombing between November 20 and 23 in the surrounding areas of Kiir Adem.
