The Catholic Bishop of Torit appealed to the Citizens to open new ways for evangelization by being peaceful.
Bishop Johnson Akio Mutek said pastoral activities were hindered in some areas due to criminal activities, Radio Emmanuel reported.He added that citizens needed to know about the events that affected the development of the Nation.
Bishop Akio called upon the Christians to change their ways in 2013 and secure peace in the nation.
The Catholic Bishop of Torit urged Government and Church leaders to create forums for citizens to share their feelings freely in order to create room for development and peaceful co-existence.
Bishop Akio also encouraged the authorities to accept and analyze the feelings of the citizens without intimidation and discrimination to achieve a positive change.
