The Police Commissioner of Tonj South County, in Warrap State, urged the people to begin the New Year with the love of Lord Jesus Christ.
Joseph Mayiei said he wanted all the people of Tonj to work for peace and love to develop the country, Don Bosco Radio reported.He said the year 2012 was not good because many lives of the young people were lost.
Mr Mayiei urged all the youth to stay in their county with their domestic animals and not to go and attack others and steal their cattle or kill people.
He said people who want to steal will be taken by the police.
Mr Mayiei congratulated the people of Tonj South for their cooperation during Christmas celebration that went well.
